8 people must be retarded!!!

I'm one of the lucky ones then. My dad IS the one in this song... And I'm glad he's still here @ 81 and DANG PROUD of him for the way he's lived his life and the values he instilled in us kids!!
-
on many occasions i have wished that my father was like the one described in the song. so much for wishful thinking.

@TheFullback44 i can relate. on more than 1 occasion my father has been a total jackass.when me and my twin brother were just 7 months old he left my mother to take care of my brother and i on her own.when my mom left the state he took advantage of that to get full custody of me and my brother.when he realized that he was unable to properly parent me and my brother he voluntarily gave me and my brother to DCF.because of my father i developed clinical anxiety and depression before i was 12.

This is without a shatter of a doubt the most beautiful song ever!

@iloveDanielle100 i highly agree with joe man .. i'm 22 havin my first one in not even a week and ur gonna be scared shitless just like i am cuz ur gonna have this feeling that ur not gonna be able to be a good father and be afraid to make any mistakes and later on down the road when u put ur hand on her stomach and u feel him or her feeling ur hand right back ur going to realize u were an idiot to even consider it and realize this is going to be the best thing to ever happen

@joe23ba I think you read him wrong, he was expecting to get killed by his dad. Nowhere there did I get the idea that he was thinking about aborting the baby.

@MrBillyBurgie
OMG! im with you 100%.... Mom's had to take presents back on xmas because of money problems and such... but at that point it can only get better... anyone with this problem can tell you it only gets better, im now 19 and i havnt had mine for 18 years... and i dont need him now... just know (dont hope) that one day you WILL be a better father because you know that hurt! and you know! you'll never put your little boy or girl threw it.... THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE!
