Cute Common Pleco!

I love my cute oh so talented little sucker cat fish.

Isn't it just cute the way it skims the surface of the water upside down?

I don't care if all these type of fish do it...mine is special cause I say so!

If you can idenify what type of sucker catfish this is please let me know.

I know its in the armoured catfish family and is referred to as a Common Pleco. I'd like to know the specific type because I read some types will grow huge. So, I just want to know information just in case I get a monster fish! Right now its only about three inches.

how do u keep the pleco with then goldfisg have u got a heater in there, what tempreture is your tank?

Looks like a common pleco to me. I just got mine as a baby (2 inches). He's super cool, one of my favorite fish.

My guess is that your guy will be about a foot long due to tank size. Feed him algee wafers to keep him happy!

I just put him into my new tropical fish tank and he doesn't seem to happy there. He is with tetras and zebra fish and he no longer feeds at the top like he used too.

Mines so boring -_- he just sits in his little cup thing all day. He never comes to the surface. Oh well... I've only had him 2 months

It will get to at least a foot long but some grow to be 7 pounds! Just be patient

your pleco will be fine if you have only had it for 2 days he is still getting used to your tank... especially from walmart. I got mine from there and it took him about a week, and now hes over 8 inches!

help i need a tip for an expert on pleco !!!!!!!!!!

i have a pleco i just baught 2 days ago from walmart and i baught him algae disc to eat but he wont eat it!!!!!! my pleco wont eat it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he doesnt even notice that its there!!!!! even when i feed him cucumber!!!! my mystery snail likes the algae disc but my peleco doesnt wat is wrong with my pleco!!!!!!
