Jim seems like an upright fellow bringing a much needed masculine spine to Robbie's bravado but The 'Keira' Effect will never die, she is the furthest thing from sexually appealing (thin almost Calista Flockhartish), she fits no mold of a sexual prerequisite from where I stand but the resilience in her feminine "quid pro quo" is of highest caliber.

She gives Cecilia such an iniquitous ascent, you can see her somewhere in her eyes. Jasper, jaded, jubilant relativity...quite an actress.

@cynthiacher It can happen sometimes, I was friends with my current boyfriend for ages and didn't really pay much attention to him, Then all of a sudden it chaged,,,it was strange for me as well. I think they've both known for a while they have feelings of that nature for each other, but they hid them. Hence why they argued quite a bit. They wanted a life together and then that opportunity taken away. Sometimes when that happens that can make the feelings even stronger.

They "love" each other? They don't even KNOW each other. I read the book; they grow up together, like siblings almost, and pretty much ignore each other and take each other for granted. Then, when they reach college age, for no reason at all they're "in love", crazy, cuckoo, forever in love. It didn't make much sense. WHY do they "love" each other? Like I said, they don't even know each other.

I finally got to see this movie last night and i cried like a baby, incredbily sad but an insanely great movie!!! loved every second even though i was crying and couldnt really see..LOL

You are very talented and the music is Perfect.....I would give 10 years of my life to be Cecilia for 10 minutes in this library...James McAvoy is the most stunning, sexy man and his wife is a lucky woman! The only thing I dont like is how in the book Robbie says 'I love you' first, where as here Cecilia does. Appart from that <3 :)

but god she is beautiful, she holds a majestic grace that no actress holds today.
