Thank you for taking the time to make this video. This short film gave me a good perspective of what to expect in everyday life in Savannakhet. In one year I will be traveling to the Mekong Region on a trip to visit the Mekong River, starting at Kunming, China and progressing to Vietnam. I will watch some of your other videos.

OMG, that where I live when I was a kid closed to that white churnh. It's been 10 year already alot of thing have change, but I still remember it. Thank you for uploads.

yes isan people speak lao because they are also lao.isan used to be part of laos,the french gave it away to thai.isan was part of lao up til 1904.isan and lao need to unite again.Langxan kingdom

@SBTT19XX ... sorry, Mae Sai not Mai Sai as I wrote earlier. Traveled Hwy 9 from Savannakhet to Dong Ha and then south. More videos to come from those areas.
