He and others don’t or can’t afford fancy new home does not want city to pull a eminent domain on them, force a sale for less then what it would cost to move to some where else. The city then sell the property to developers. He should get a lawyer and see about slapping a convent on his title so the land and house can not be used except as is. Make sure that is what you want because it will restrict you a lot.
