Man- low rez video makes me look like a leaper. Lepper. Leapard. Whatever.

I don't care if nobody watches this, I loved making this video and laughed more watching it than you will, of course. It's really long, but maybe it will save a few people some time, money and humiliation (that's my job).

Note- I'm NOT saying the Cambridge Who's Who is a scam (which implies illegal) but here's the story of my experience with its high-pressure sales tactics and a company turning people's ego into revenue. In some ways I almost admire the combination of business and psychology that sucked me in today. Lesson learned- keep ego in check, and if it walks like a duck...

Here's a useful site about Cambridge Who's Who and you can decide if it's a scam, hoax, illegal or perfeclty legitimate service. I've made my decision!

Postscript- gotta love you guys. Got some great advice to alert my credit card company. Wanna find out why they didn't charge me? Can ya guess?

  • Just got an email from a friend proudly announcing that she has been listed in Cambridge Who's Who. At first I thought what bogus company is this? So I looked it up and after about three clicks I came to this video.

Do I tell the person that they have been had? I have an MBA from Canterbury University...but I bought it as a joke. I am thinking of buying a ministerial degree but again just for fun....but my friend is so proud that she has been listed on this Who's Who. Do I tell her?

  • thank you for this video because they called me today. as I told her I will call her back... she hesitated yet told me she would publish my stuff. hilarious! I'm grateful I thought twice before giving my card info! thanks!

  • @Hanni2471 Story of my morning.

  • @tracik13 At least you were smart enough to give false info. I googled them after I gave my credit card number, not before. I though they were legit because I saw their ad on Linkedin, and yes, I was expecting to pay a subscription fee. Too bad the whole thing is bogus because a professional networking site for managers, executives, and entrepreneurs is actaully a good idea.

  • @Hanni2471 AM BEING SCAMMED AS WE SPEAK.... (TYPE) LOL UHHH THAT BITCH!!!!! MADE ME ACTUALLY CRY FOR HAPPINESS AN ACHIEVEMENT AWARD , DONALD TRUMP BLA BLA BULL SHIT!!! ....AS WE WERE ON THE PHONE I BEING THE COMPUTER TEKKY I AM GOOGLED THIS AND WHILE I SPOKE TO HER....SCAMMED HER RIGHT BACK WITH AN OLD CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD AND THE IDIOT SAID SHE WILL STILL PUBLISH!!!! MORONS !! SO I GOT IT TOO!!

  • I was scammed by them today.

  • I worked for this awful company and it is the worst company to work for. I felt such shame working for such a company.
