  • Bucks

What it would cost could be all over the map. You can spend as much as you want on a restoration. All the mechanical work I did myself. Paid for the paint, body and top work. A good paint job will cost you $5k. At the low end, I would say $10-15K.

Find a mustang club in your area and have them recommend some shops.

  • Thanks

Now that I have a 4 barrel Edelbrock, the stock cover will not fit.

  • that looks nice! my dads family has kept my grandmas 65 Mustang Convertable in pretty good shape, its been in the faily since 65, all stock expecpt for emblems and tail lights and radio, my grandma had a guy restore and he threw on what ever he found first : ( it has 64 tail lights and 70's tyale and newer horse emblem, she also got dual exhaust which makes sound good for being a 289 but yours sounds a slight bit better, i like

  • how much did it cost to restore this car? i want to restore my grandmothers '67 vert and i just need a rough estimate as to how much it might be

  • like that car a lot! But you should change the valves/air cleaner to stock blue ones! Looks a lot nicer and would match you awesome blue paint!
