  • Threadbox project is over (probably because MySpace bought it).

Pitty, it was much better than Google Wave (they should take lessons from its simplicity and handiness)

  • Its really a worthful invention. Surely will get popular in few days. I invited 5 of my friends and once i get through all the process and understand each and every things in this site will invite more colleagues and friends. Great job guy, like to see the completion of all the work within the site as soon as possible. All the best for that...

  • Invited 5 colleagues and started a thread named work from home !

It really works and I understood that this site is made with special features to obtain a simple collaboration platform. I will definitely use for the conversation, for transferring of files in a group, for adding addresses, signing task etc. Thanks for inventing it and making the interactions more powerful.

  • In our free service, you do own your data. In the paid service, your paying authority (could be you or could be your company) owns your data. Really, the key difference in the pro service is the ability to EXPORT your data into other formats. We'll update to FAQ to clarify that.

  • In the FAQ "How much does ThreadBox cost? ", it says that for a price I can own my data. If I use it for free and post a confidential document, does that mean Threadbox as accesss to it and in effect owns the content of the thread?

  • -Wave lacks security; Threadbox is password protected/SSL, etc.

-Wave is completely a completely confusing interface and heavy learning curve; Threadbox has a very intuitive interface, feeling much more natural

-Wave doesn't let you delete items; Threadbox allows for deleting anything

-Wave was built by 300 people over 3 years in a vacuum; Threadbox was built by 4 people with user based iterations over 1 year

  • -Open, but private system - Wave requires a Google account as you know. Threadbox can be used with any email address, and is private to only those whom you invite.

-Notifications - Wave only recently has begun email notifications of activity in your Wave. Threadbox not only does notifications, but we notify you providing you the entire message(s) that took place. In the event a real-time chat has taken place, we'll even send you the entire digest by email, keeping everyone on the same page.

  • @torgrimgmail

-Real-time - The tempo on wave is higher, so much that it confuses more than it helps. Threadbox is a much more expected, natural tempo.

  • Whats the difference between Threadbox and Google Wave? Pros and Cons?

One Con with GW is that you need a GMail account.

  • music is nice but VERY distracting
