@PaulineLovesDylan few different things you can use. I don't know of any one-step solutions but Eye Envy (topical) or Angel Eyes (ingested) work well. Angel Eyes is a type of anitibiotic and shouldn't be used for long periods of time or with dogs who have ongoing issues, talk to your vet about it first. Eye Envy should be used as directed but it does work with continued as-directed use. Keep the area clean and dry

A lot of great advice in these videos, but as a groomer and fellow powderpuff owner I advise against using cheaper clippers for self grooming. These clippers tend to have fixed blade that heat up very fast and risk burns, they're also generally not very well made. If you cannot afford good clippers that are designed not to heat and have removable blades, then pay your groomer to clean up your powderpuffs face. :) Also, wet brushing tends to cause split ends, unless matting is sever, dry first!

@Silustrae the little clippers do heat up but I haven't found they heat up in the time it takes to do one dog's face, providing the dog doesn't fight and the face is shaved regularly (weekly). If they are maintained they can do a decent job, but you wouldn't use it on a longer coat as it would be too much work for the little guy to handle.

I've always been taught never to brush a dry coat to avoid damage, so whatever works to for you go for it, there's no set right or wrong.
