@kimbothebimbo805 At the time of this fight, Brock Lesnar had just won the UFC Heavyweight Championship 3 days before, Cain Velasquez was 4-0 (2-0 in UFC). I guess Joe just figured he would do well and earn a shot at Brock and beat him, and that he did.
