While I try to get part 16 of my Oddworld walkthrough to record, I figured I'd make a walkthrough of one of my favorite SNES games, Firepower 2000.

The first level is pretty easy if you know where everything is. Should post the next 5 levels soon.

  • God I loved that game.

However, I have to say ... you suck xD

  • @AtlasRedux Whether I suck or not, I'm much better than I was when I was a kid. Could never get past level 3 no matter what I did, so I've come to think that I've at least improved slightly. :)

  • my big brother always stole the power ups.. heavy nostalgia on this :D

  • @DanRo87 I remember doing the same thing when I played with someone years ago. Kinda helped in the end since I used to survive until level 3 and whoever I played with died in the first 5 minutes. :P

  • Esse game é de ++++++...to matando as saudades vendo esses videos...bom trabalho p quem o postou....

  • Play the game on two player and keep the second player alive for the first three yelow boxes. They have to put up extra weapons for the second player. If you hog them all, more stuff!

  • This is my dad's favorite SNES game! I got it from FuncoLand at the time. I was the tank and he was the copter. We always synchronized well, especially because he knew who should take what power-ups and what enemies to vanquish on the screen! He asked me about it last week because he's itching to play again... he has the cartridge and console but no cables and stuff.

  • my god... i miss this game so much!! I remember playing this game with my friend all the fucking time.

  • @MrCheezywotsit I do know that Firepower 2000 was called Super SWIV in Europe, which was based on SWIV for old computers (Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, etc.). There was also Mega SWIV, which was a Europe-only Genesis version of Super SWIV/Firepower 2000.

Not sure about a Game Boy version, though....

  • I had this on the Gameboy but it was called Swiv..but after searching on the the Internet..I find no evidence of it ever being realeased on the Gameboy..can anyone help or am I just going crazy??

  • I STILL HAVE MY SNES,AND THE FIREPOWER 2000 CARTRIDGE !!!!!BOTH IN VERY GOOD CONDITION !!!!!

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!

  • Anyone always thought that the start menu screen was confusing as hell to figure out at first?
