I can't believe how bone dry it is..totally parched where you were standing with the pack, but doesn't it make a good back scratcher for them?

@oliveroma Actually, the dry area is the strip that the utility company keeps killed off, to keep trees from growing up into the power lines. They spray it about every 3 years in the late Spring with "eco-friendly" herbicides. The area is definitely a great back scratcher for the dogs!
