ur a shame on turkish nation. nobody tells u not to read Qoran in turkish. read it. but Allah's words are the original Qoran and the best is to understand it in the language Qoran revealed

Are you for real? copy us like they did in Ottoman times??? What are talking about, the last 200 years of the empire was a series of defeat in which an empire due to its islamic nature refused to adapt and change, while the west went through reformations of which praying and understanding their religion IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE was a main element. Islam needs a reformation and we need to understand it in our language, not listen to Arabic, and would add probably a butchered Arabic at that.

altay111: Because God's words can't be translated they can only be interpreted which changes with changing languages of the world. Can you read and understand the translation of Quran in Turkish 100 years ago? Think. It will get lost, people won't memorize it, it will be corrupted, then we'll be like Christians and Jews.

Had We sent this as a Quran (in the language) other than arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! a foreign (tongue) and (a Messenger) an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): they are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!"

Why not have the prayer read in Turkish. What is this Arabic. Why do we pray in Arabic. This is a disgrace that we continue to participate in. Answer one question. WHY ARABIC???
