This demonstrates why the proper location for a fire camp is important, not to keep this from happening (That is not possible) BUT so that on those rare occasions when it does happen your firefighters are safe. Despite how it looks this camp did what it was suppose to do.

hey guys It look like start a fire tornado there I would not want to be there. Those guys got to be nuts. But I want to say thanks to all the fire crews and hot shots that were out there my dad said that that must not of been a good day he is former CDF so I sure he knows how u guys feel

If they new the fire was coming, why didn't they at least save their pickups or trailers? You'd think they'd try and save everything they could carry.

Hunting will improve dramatically, now that all the "thermal cover" has been removed and browse can be allowed to grow again.

also loved watching that one cabin burn down and seeing the porta potties get warpped to a arched look instead of rectangular look. zena fire was great too
