Hello UKFish1. Thank you for this video. We have got a secondhand M2010. The keyboard died about the time Microsoft caught up to the fact that the installed copy of Windows 7 was dodgy. We have replaced Windows 7 but the keyboard remains dead. Could you tell me if there is a test to see if it is the battery that has died? I would rather not order a new battery and then find it is something else. Unfortunately Dell Quickset, which would be able to say, has not been updated for W7. Charlie

This keyboard is singularly beautiful. Dell has a flair for design. I've wanted to use mine, for a few months.
However, even Dell doesn't have the pinout for the battery in its internal documentation, so your tutorial is extremely helpful.
