President Barack Obama imposed $500,000 caps on senior executive pay for the most distressed financial institutions receiving federal bailout money. The AP's Mark Smith says the goal is to restore the public trust. (Feb. 4)

I agree. Supposedly, our elected officials job is to serve the citizens of this country. Well when the banks and corps accept money from the gov, the gov tells the banks and corps what to do. The banks are trying to give back the TARP money because they say they dont need it and well lets be real, they dont want to be nationalized.
