(Clip taken from Disney's "Beauty And The Beast")

When you're on the receiving end of a systems administrator's ire, you might think him/her an ogre, malicious and violent. But the truth is that we're just being protective. Note the following points:
* Belle had been told to keep out of the Beast's private wing (the "server room")
* Belle was, out of curiosity alone, fiddling with extremely breakable things
* Beast was extremely angry, but never hurt Belle
* His roar is "Do you realise what you could have done?". Not "what you did" or "what an idiot you are" but that she nearly destroyed something accidentally.
* "Get out". That's the tenor of most angry sysadmins' demands. If you're not in the server room, you're much safer.

This doesn't excuse Beast's violence to the furniture, nor his raging outburst, but his mentality is remarkably similar to that of any sysadmin who discovers a meddling upper manager poking around where he doesn't belong!
