  • It might be worth mentioning that you should use LOW temp hot glue. I work in the theater and I have to make things like this on a quick basis. This is actually a good idea!

  • @princesshyrule Thanks for the feedback and good to know that we have the approval from a theater pro!

  • mine seems a little flimsy, any tips?

  • @riggett1 Hey there! Try doing a layer, and then tracing it again a couple more times. I don't know if we mentioned in the video but there are probably three layersish...

  • great idea, thanks! where did you buy the metal thing?

  • @misscarlos326 we got it from a party supply store in toronto! Like I said it used to be a crown, but I broke off the top part because it was too pretty... then we made our own top part :) goodluck!

  • very cool and creative

  • i did this today but the glue wouldnt come off of the plastic bowl...so i redid it on foil! then i had to pop out the foil holes for like an hourr. but the crown seems super delicate...i also painted it black..anyways, thank u so much for sharing this! im being this for halloween(:

  • thanks ladies! waiting for my paint to dry to glue it all together! i'm assuming you use the flat side of the melted glue as the front of the crown (like the bottom side after peeling it off plastic container)?

  • Just made this - great idea, easy to do - and it looks awesome!

  • wont the hot glue melt the plastic box

  • @aebrianna a little, i used a butter knife to pop it off slowly.

  • @riggett1 did your glue stick to the tuba wear? mine is! Idk how to get it off
