Chi is energy , energy is in everything including air his movements generate energy ie chi to put out the candle .

I would like to see the hands moving really slow as you say, with mouth covered, full body in view and a view of the candle from 5 feet of clearance. This will prove what you say, can you please make a video.

learn to do it as slow as possible first! that is the hard part. your mind is elswhere, be in the now, be the movements of the hands... you arent doing it for its real purpose

Moving chi to put out a candle is done at least 3 to 4 feet away not 1" from the candle. anyone can move air that close. Moving chi is not how fast you can move you hands it's how you train your mind to flow chi to your hand or any other part of your body
