@cakire82 Hi, I call it a "3rd hand" lol - I don't know the actual name as different companies call it different names e.g. - soldering aid - cable holder - etc etc. If you look around you can find them all over the place (especially electronic shops or web sites). Hope this helps.

Wierd, i just done this today, there was a break near the end of the cable, cutting in and out so i chopped off about 2 feet and re-soldered the end back on. Sorted!
