We saw DJ Anubus's amazing DMC Online routine we sent him a message right away to see if he lived remotely close to us in NY and was interested being in a feature video. Lucky for us both things were true and we met up with Anubus in Brooklyn to hand off a Denon DN-MC6000. He spend a few days with it and came up with the routine you see above.

  • why did you scratch with vinyl and not with the DN-MC6000?

i can imaging what is your answer, but i want to ear it.

  • @vladimirprieto scratching was done on vinyl to show how the MC6000 can integrate outside audio sources for its 3rd and 4th decks. Also, Anubus a DMC finalist and we wanted him to showoff. As far as platters go on digital dj controllers in general, nothing will ever compare to turntables. The jog wheels on the unit are great for scratching in tracks and doing basic scratch effects, but most people aren't doing extended scratch routines on dj controllers.

  • hey quick question!!! if I already have vdj& do I need to map this? or it comes already mapped to the full version too? nice mix btw thx!!

  • @djtavi77 i works right out of the box with VDJ. it is traktor ready as well

  • I really loved the part where the camera mimicked the movement of a ship caught in a storm...

  • amazing job on the excision track! after watching that video i think i have to go practice some more.

  • Nice demo. Great job. I like that you can still use a Turntable along side wit tha controller if wanted. It would fun to hook up an other dj mixer to it VIA one of tha lines and have a two DJ session. That would be crazy and fun tho.

  • vdj efx sounds like shit^^

  • @proaudiostar was he using timecodes w/ the turntable during scratching integrated in vdj?

  • on his soundcloud page a song called disco lazers, u can DL it free

  • @3ob3ob thats the intro to a song Anubus produced himself... i dont know the previous song.

  • that vdj samples sucks!!
