Pik L and Susan Dutta scored a 71.1 in the Intermediare Freestyle at the Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF National Intermediare Dressage Championship and Pan Am Games Selection Trials in Gladstone New Jersey in June, 2007. Pik L is a 14 year old Hanoverian stallion owned by Horses Unlimited. Ms. Dutta lives in Wellington, Florida. With this ride, the pair placed fourth in the Championship and a reserve spot on the United State Equestrian team for the Pan Am Games.
Ms. Dutta should be given a lot of respect for riding in both the Intermediare with Pik L and in the Grand Prix competition with Gumshoes DC. Moreover, she has only been riding Pik L for a few months, qualifying him for the National Championship. They are a good match. Horse Unlimited would do well to give them addditional time together. Congratulations.
