Lachlans birth

The Natural birth of our beautiful boy Lachlan. Born in meconium and with his head lodged in the left side of my pelvis, we had an eventful birth. I spent an hour and a half on my knees swaying from side to side to get his head in place, trying to escape a c-section. We did it! But because they had to clear his lungs straight away I didn't get to hold him straight away and dad couldn't cut the cord. This hasn't affected our bonding, thank goodness.

Aaaaw, what a beautiful baby. Call me an absolute tit, but my eyes filled up at this! I am sick to death of some people making snide, childish comments about birth and stuff on how its disgusting. This was so beautiful so don't listen to any of these idiots that say any other. :) xx

@velmechia Um because we aren't in the 50's and lye on our backs and be helpless as a doctor navigates the birth. This is why birth is now so empowering for women, gives them a choice to DO WHATS COMFORTABLE.

Yes, it is hard to deal with all these young punk kids (mostly boys) who have to leave their useless comments on here. They will never understand what strength it took for you to go through that. Your son is absolutely gorgeous - he is already a lady's man I can tell ;)

Beautiful Birth video. I'm expecting a baby in may, it's nice seeing a hospital being open to birthing in the position that the mom wants. Shame on the people commenting on your birthing position, birthing in a squatting position helps the baby descend better and helps minimize tearing.

@newgirl0708 i had both mine on my back in the bed..my first i got up walked went on the birthing ball but my second was natural..very painful what id like to know is ..is it more comfortable like that on your knees. i mean either way it hurts but does it help being like that?
