A few miles west of New London, Connecticut, an Amtrak train crossing a railroad bridge called Old Lyme Bridge, crossing the Connecticut River. This train is traveling east.

  • That's the Old Lyme DEP boardwalk! I go running there!

  • Are you sure that there is a boardwalk? I remember that there was a beach and this is a railroad bridge.

  • That is bridge is called Conn. it crosses from Old saybrook to Old Lyme Ct.

  • I'm pretty sure that's it. At 0:33 the train passes over a wooden walkway standing in the water.

  • No, a chance of a train driving off into the water is extremely rare. If the bridge is raised up, it must be determined that there are no trains nearby. And if a train must cross the bridge, then the boat must stop until the train finishes crossing the bridge.

  • It's goes in the middel the river wichis Old Saybroook and OLd Lym.

  • I don't know. This train did not stop at Old Saybrook. But I knew it was few miles west of New London.
