Father wins custody

Short story about a father that has joint custody of his two young kids. Because of the distance, he can only see them on the weekends.

Seraj officially got divorced from his wife 1.5years ago but his fight for seeing his kids started three years ago. His marriage was peaceful, but the interference of his ex-in-laws for their daughter to move back to the USA from Germany was just too great. Seraj's now ex-wife left Germany without notice taking their 3year old daughter and their unborn son to Ohio. Cut off from his kids life and desperate to see them Seraj won partial custody of his 2 children, but not with out a long legal fight.

In the end Seraj was exonerated of any wrong doing in the marriage.

Life does always goes the way we planned . I give u lot of credit by not making ur ex's life miserable by filing motions after motions to stress her out & as a result there will be a direct impact on ur children. BRAVO!!!!!!!!

I am also a mother of three kids. The cultural differences is not the problem. The problem is when the justice system looks at the father as someone who can not show love and affection like a mother can....This is faulse. I believe a father has every right to their children as much as the mother. always stipulations to any beliefs. I feel for you very very much. I am so very sorry you're going through this when you and the kids did nothing but want to be together. You're in my prays. :(

Hey Seraj.......More power to you my friend. I understand as a single mother the pain u r going through. But the justice system sucks here..............In any divorce, children are the real victim but the justice system victimize them again!!!!!!! I always wish that they handle things differently in each case according to the cultural differences but unfortunately that don't happened.
