  • Stammering & stuttering affect 1% of our population and many other of us suffer when we are STRESSED. I help my patients with the HeartMath technique and find it highly efficacious.

  • Hello,

I know 1% is the statistic. Also I know that only about 0.01% join Stammering Associations / selfhelp groups / online groups. The others do not let themselves be known. Why do 99% of this 1% accept / hide / ignore their stammer?

Many of us stammer when we are not stressed as well.

I have not heard of HeartMath technique. What is it please?

    Keith

  • This is a very informative video, I think to non-stutters and stutters alike. I am also a stutter and a severe one also. I attended the Successful Stuttering Management Program in Washington state recenly and have found it to be usfull. I have done many programs at my school involving the ISAD and the National Stuttering Awarness Week in America. I just joined only a day ago. I am going to eventually post many videos on my experiences as a stutter the last 3 or 5 years.

  • If you are interested in what can be done to reduce the amount of stammering in this world, please search for 'speakingout2' and look at 'Save 9 out of 10 children from a lifetime of stammering'. There is currently an opportunity to do exactly this in England and Wales, but it would be possible to do it in any country in the world. The video is a bit long and serious, and there is quite a lot of stammering, but it's very important stuff. Nice shirt, too.

  • hi i just want to say i stutter too and that you have such a soft, kind, and enjoyable voice that know one should even pay attention to your stutter. Also thank u for trying to make people aware of stuttering.

  • I was going to make a video about this day as well but by the time I finally got around to it, the day had well passed.

I am 22, and I have stuttered since I began to talk. I thank you for trying to make people aware of this.
