  • Greta videos. Thanks I have a question though... I LOVE the look of the Sunray tri-led in your other video, and I'm wondering if the "white" setting of the tri led is actually pretty white. I'm wondering because I'd love to use it for "slow dance" mirror ball effect, but I'd like white. I know it's made up of rgb leds but so they really look white.. Or close enough/ Any info is much appreciated!

  • @ezski To be honest if you are going for white light the only choice is the regular Starballs. The tri leds don't fully mix so you have colored beams still in the atmophere. If you just want them for slow dances you could get the best of both worlds and get the non-dmx star balls and then get the tri led ones for the up beat songs.

  • Great Light. Love It.. At 5:16 You said linked together.. As master slave?? Did you use a dmx controller??

    Awsome demonstration.

  • Yup that was master/slave. I have used these with a dmx controller but not for this video.

  • What type of clamp and stand do you have the Starball attached to in this? Is it a 1.5" stand and clamp? I think I'm going to purchase one of these but I want to be able to attach it to a stand like you did. Thanks!

  • o- clamp 1.5 inch

  • hello i just wanna ask if this light can rotates full 360 degree CONTINOUSLY?! thank you

  • great review, thanks. what about the noise generated by these starball motors? suitable for not-so-loud music?

  • I think i might get 2 of these to have for use as a slow dance lights! They seem awesome!

  • I currently use the ADJ Starball II, and although it is a halogen, and heats up like crazy and has a duty cycle of 10mins on 10mins off I still think I would prefer it, to the new LED ones when it comes to slow dances. There is a few reasons

    1. for a slow dance I do not use rising fog.

    2. for a slow dance I do not use strobe effects.

    3. it looks like you would need 2-3 of the LED ones in order to get the full 360 degrees.

However I may still look in to getting a few in the future.

  • Great video and explanation thanks. Can you tell me the name and the exact model of this light please?

    Thanks
