@kokyameen The tooth was irreparably fractured.  There is very minimal predictability to that procedure especially in a multirooted tooth.

I am getting an implant in a week. This is amazing stuff. A little hard to watch. I am sure I will have some tears when they take my tooth out. Hope I do okay and I have no problems afterwards. A little scared.

Price is probably different in every city but I paid about $5,000 for my tooth. That was for half a root canal, the implant process and the new tooth. If I hadn't had the root canal to try to save the tooth initially, then I would have saved $500. It was worth it. I had great dentists and it's working perfectly. I don't even notice it. Go to a dentist who is very skilled and has done many of these. Do not go to a cut-rate dentist. The implant only took about 2 hours. Good luck!

I got my implant and it worked out great. I would highly recommend it. It's not cheap, though.
