My friends don’t understand about the Church,” Laura explained, “but when we meet as a stake now, it feels like I have beaucoup friends, even though it’s an hour and a half to the meeting. We go to Frankfurt for a temple trip, and that’s more than 10 hours away.”

John 10: 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. Matt. 7: 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you

"... and I was in this land and they would not receive me, but they cast me out and I was about to set my back towards this land forever."
Alma 8:24 -
This is evidence that Joseph Smith translated this book vs wrote it. If Joseph wrote it, proper English = "Turn my back against it." vs a phrase such as,
"Set my back towards"
(An authentic Egyptian Phrase, BTW)
No where in the Bible does it read one sets his back towards the land he chooses to no longer visit..." and it's not proper English.

Very enlightening... and yes, I actually watched the whole 10 minutes... which, unlike most opponents of the church who should actually VIEW the said video, I did.
They just touch the video thread to make comments having not even watched it.

Would the term "my father" be related to the spiritul exhortation, or term Holy Father, or Hosanna (save us, savior), in the patriarchal sense.
