Il 22 gennaio 2009 alle 7.00 del mattino un centinaio di poliziotti è entrato nel Centro Sociale Conchetta, fondato più di 33 anni fa e della libreria Calusca nata nel 1971 e del prezioso e storico archivio Primo Moroni.
La risposta della città è stata tempestiva, in breve si sono radunati davanti ai blindati delle forze dellordine molti compagni, amici, abitanti del quartiere.
Si tratta di uno sgombero illegale che non tiene conto di una causa intentata dal comune al centro sociale nel mese di luglio 2008 per la riappropriazione dei locali, una vertenza ancora in corso.
Il vicesindaco De Corato, da sempre in prima linea contro le realtà cittadine non omologate, scarica su questore e prefetto la responsabilità delloperazione.
Il Pubblico Ministero sostiene di essere stato avvisato a giochi fatti.
Poco importa, tutti, invece, concordano che limportanza dell'operazione è che il Comune non perda il valore dellarea.
Si tratta di una questione patrimoniale, come se questo bastasse a spiegare e a giustificare tutto.
Il risultato, al momento, vede il centro sigillato e sotto sequestro con tutti i materiali dentro, compresi i libri e le riviste della libreria e dellarchivio.
Il Centro Sociale Conchetta, la Calusca, lArchivio Primo Moroni rappresentano un pezzo di storia importante, e testimoniano oggi la possibilità di eludere il principio di mercificazione.
Con essi, in buona compagnia, diversi altri centri sociali, luoghi di libero accesso e libero scambio.
La loro sopravvivenza deve essere la sopravvivenza della libertà di agire, di farci padroni del nostro futuro, di non essere pesati per quanto possiamo / sappiamo / vogliamo spendere.
Per quanto ci riguarda non consideriamo chiusa la partita, riconosciamo chi rifiuta lomogeneità del pensiero unico del mercato: ci vogliono compatibili, compratori comperabili, ordinati e consenzienti, resteremo ciò che sappiamo essere, ciò che siamo: originali, comunicanti, disomogenei.
Chiediamo a tutti di farsi carico di un pezzo di questo percorso, che è percorso di tutti.

Lets take back Cox 18, the Calusca Library and the Primo Moroni archive!
The 22nd of January 2009 at 7.00 am, about a hundred policeman has entered and cleared out the Conchetta Squat, occupied more than 33 years ago, where has place the Calusca library, created in 1971, and the precious and historical archive Primo Moroni.
The citys response has been immediate, and in a short time a lot of activists, friends, and people from the neighbourhood has gathered in front of the police forces.
It is clearly an illegal intervention that doesnt take in consideration the fact that there is an ongoing trial for the suit the municipality has made against the squat in July 2008 to take back the building.
The vice-major De Corato, ever since in front line against all non conformed realities in town, has shift the blame for the operation on the police commissioner and the prefect. The public attorney claims that he has been informed after the operation had taken place. It doesnt really matter, as everyone agrees that the real mean of the operation is that the municipality wants to avoid losing the building, and the precious land on which it is built. It is a purely economic reason, as if this could be enough to justify the whole thing.
The result, so far, is that the Squat is sealed off and seized with all the files inside, including the books and the magazines of the library and of the archive. Conchetta Squat, the Calusca Library and the Primo Moroni Archive represent an important piece of the towns history, as they represent a proof of the existence of realities that refuse to conform to a profit-seeking mentality. With them, many other squats, free entrance and free trade places. Their survival represents the survival of the freedom to act, to become masters of our own destiny and to not be classified only based on how much money we can and want to spend.
In our opinion, the match is still open and we will refuse to be conformed to the dominating profit-seeking mentality.
They want us conformed, buyers that can be bought, ordered and consenting, but we will remain what we have shown to be: original, communicative and not conformed.
We ask everyone to take part to this path, that is everyones path.

@1989gof cosa centra l'utilità?...per la legge non ne parliamo che apri un capitolo infinito..sto parlando di un posto dove c'è gente che ha idee proprie dove esiste reale integrazione...(non scene che vedi nei servizi di studio aperto! dove con una musichetta malinconica e una voce depressa ti descrivono la piaga dei centri sociali! e lì la piaga..che ti affidi a tutto ciò che dicono in tele!)
