  • Nope, he's not. Kang Mae is the best conductor for me. But, he's just an actor. But he's the legendary actor of Korea, Kim Myung-Min. He is the only one who can portray the role excellently. :) I'm proud of Kim Myung-Min!!!

  • KANG MAEEE!!!! :))))

    The best conductor. :)

  • no matter who are the merits... I just love those eyes!

  • that was a beautiful dramatization of this piece

  • Excelente drama me encanta! esta parte fue excelente muy emotiva...

  • This clip from "Beethoven's Virus" should not be judged unless it is in context of the entire drama. And, the use of music to enhance the visual is a norm, regardless if it is a k-drama or a Hollywood film. Did the movie, "Ghost" 'rip off' the song "Unchained Melody"? Would the scene of Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze being as good without the song? It is rather discriminatory to say that a K-drama 'ripped off' this song from "The Mission".

  • Good quality... fell in love with this song when i saw Beethoven Virus :)

  • @eschelar your comments are just way beyond your reasonable argument. OBVIOUSLY the audio file in this video is NOT directly from The Mission, and the uploader only mentioned it in the title to credit the original composer. Therefore, there is no "rip off" going on here, get it? I actually agree that soaps, especially the Korean ones, suck big time, and that they're only after the money and nothing else, but that still doesn't make 99% of the homemade piece-of-shit on YT any better than this.

  • I love Beethoven's Virus. I'm not Korean and I don't usually watch Korean soaps, but this one is actually good. There is so much passion and it actually made me cry a few times. And im a guy. I would never forget about the passionate elderly oboe player that could no longer play his instrument because of his quickly progressing disease which makes him forget everything that is important to him.

  • lol Korean hater? Naw. I'm a soap opera hater. Specifically a crapass soap opera hater.

What I don't like is that this says it is Gabriel's Oboe from the Mission, but it should say it is Gabriel's Oboe ripped off by some shameless soap opera BS.

You may not see my presentation. It is at a private booth at a private industry show. I do not owe you any further explanation. You either understand that this is offensive to anyone who appreciates Ennio's work or you're a dumbass. Simple.

  • @eschelar Wow, you sound like a Korean hater, lol. It's okay, there's more talk than action, it may be sad to you because as you claim, "You do professional work". So, I'm currently in Europe, would love to see your production, let me know what it's called, would definitely check it out. However, what is it? A play, a movie or a SOAP OPERA? Morricone would love to see this, some people that never had the nerve to listen to classical music are now interested because of this show, thought of that?
