BS,I was fully aware of the details on the 8000 Series tractor engines.What you left unsaid is just as important.After the 8400 smashed alot of recoreds in its Nebraska testing the 8100,8200, and the 8300 all got the 496 cid in the 1996-97 period.

8100- 8300 have the 466. The 8400 was the first to have the 496.
