Mac mini DVD Drive change

1st time this mini is opened. I replaced a broken Superdrive. If I had got it done at the Official Mac place in town it would have cost me double.

how well does your superdrive work now? what're your mac mini's specs? ...i'm thinking of doing the same to my mac mini, but i don't want the superdrive to malfunction like it did the first time.

This one broke too. At least it reads/burns DVDs but doesn't read or burn CDs. Too bad. This is the PPC version of the mini though. The only version you can get new today is the Intel version and I don't know how well those hold out.

I'm in Cuernavaca, México. They don't break all the time, this is a strange problem for a Mac. However they do break sometimes... about as often as a big brand (eg. Dell) PC would. I put my machines through hell though, 24/7/365 uptime and lots of burning.
