I also ran from getting off the bus to see this show after school too ! Barnabas wasn't a pretty boy or classically handsome, but the show was inexplicable in it's ability to draw me in. Loved it .

Now I hear Johnny Depp will be prtraying Barnabas in the re-vamp (excuse the pun) of Dark Shadows. Hope he does it justice.

This almost sounds the same as the 1979 Salem's Lot theme song anybody else notice the comparison plus both were tv shows and were themed on vampires and ghouls.

This is the best(and classiest) creepy music ever written!

A bunch of my siblings and I(including my very hip 21 yr old brother)used to huddle together on the couch, tensely watching this show!
