This song refers to an incident at Columbine High School where one of the gunmen came up to Cassie and put a gun to her head and asked her if she believed in God. She had the courage and Faith to stand up for what is right and what she knew to be true by saying yes. The gunman then asked "why" and pulled the trigger. Every day in other countries people are dying for their belief in Christ in countries around the world, my hope is that if I am ever given the choice I stand for the truth.

like, if you've ever played final fantasy 10 you'll begin to understand the whole story, of how everything was alright at one point in the past till Yu Yevon decided to summon the dream of the faith bringing forth Sin, then 1,000 year's of following the tradition and Sin still could not be vanquished cause everyone but the Al'Bhed followed the teaching's, untill Tidus came along and put a stop to it all of course it's a perfect example if you take that experience and add it to real life.

like, most war's in the past were started because of religion and most do still today, religion came about because people wanted something to blame on bad luck or mis-fortune's, but at the same time needed to praise them in hope's they will forgive them for their sin's, but bad shit still happen's. Does anybody but me understand that nothing will ever change if everyone continue's following a religion? as long as nobody can agree on any one religion there will be more people dieing.

wtf, i just read the lyrics for this song, now don't get me wrong or anything cause i like this song i live it, it's just, who the fuck would let someone kill them for believing in god? that's just fucking stupid, it's just like terrorism if anything fuckin suicide bomb the shit outta people thinking you'll get into heavon that way, this is one reason im skeptical about believing in any type of religion.
