Cigar Haven (http://www.cigar-haven.com) is in Fishers, Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis.
Barb Munchel of Cigar Haven answers the question of "What Is The Most Expensive Cigar?" (or more commonly, "What's The Most Expensive Cigar In The Store?").
I want to know if this cigar is a gift, are you trying to impress somebody (so we have to go with the "brand name" cigar), or is it because you think that because it's expensive that it must be the best in the store. Expensive does not equal the best cigar.
Everyone has different tastes and palates.
A cigar is going to be expensive because of its' age. Some of these cigars are aged three, six, nine years. They're like a fine scotch. They improve, they mellow out with better melding of flavors. Those are going to be expensive cigars. They also use top-grade tobacco.
I understand why some of these types of cigars are expensive, but that doesn't mean that is the cigar you should be smoking.
