@boneym21may sorry, he does NOT need the latest dnas version, he needs version 1.9.8

@madden8021 why do you need to "turn" it into a text document? If you wish to read it then you can use any text editor like notepad for eg.

I changed the Machine.
Now I´m working on Windows XP 32 bit.
So far so good.
I followed your instructions but cannot connect to the shoutcast servers.
I get following message in my running sc_serv2 drop 02_22_2010 cmd window
"bla bla... connection rejected bad icy header string [icy-genre:]..."

@YeolEumSon Ok, so this does not look like the latest DNAS version. Wanted to know if you downloaded that? + I have added an audio tutorial on similar lines, not sure if that will help.

The latest SC_Transcoder from SHOUTcast site doesn´t work for me.
Talking of "Latest Release: SC_TRANS 2.6"
Error message : could not open file c:/sc_trans.log
I am running a Windows 7 64 bit machine.
If I start the sc_trans.exe I will get a blank cmd screen and nothing more.
I tryed an older version "sc_trans-Beta-Drop-5-2009_02_03"
It seems to work .

@Silberfish OK. I have never tried on Windows7.... works on Windows XP.
