This is one of our hens and her recently hatched chick. She sat on several eggs but only one hatched. We hope it makes it.

@muddingkid I am not 100% sure because we bought her but almost certainly she was hatched naturally.

Sweet henny, great video taping, was the coop warm because chilly coops make raising chicks hard.

@spoondot Yeah we built the coop ourselves. The bottom is open with just chicken wire around it and is open to the ground under it so they don't have to stand on chicken wire. And then there is a ladder up to an enclosed place where they roost and lay. And it is totally enclosed except the hole in the bottom and it has plenty of hay and stuff in there.
