@penkallli ...so are you saying Islam IS a STATE!? uh THAT is EXACTLY why many Americans ARE concerned about it because our Bill of Rights says there shall be no establishment of an official state religion! The purpose of this was to PREVENT the persecution or political supression of any one group of believers by another as was done in Europe totally in OPPOSITION to the teaching of Christ in the Gospels. I don't see Muslims giving Christians equal freedom in their countries we give them here!

There's a reason why we have a Bill of Rights which guarantees freedom of religion & belief & the freedom to VERBALLY defend, debate & explain those beliefs in public & private forums. What one believes about God & the nature of reality (metaphysics) is NONE of a governments business.
