Stellenbosch University celebrates new pianos to the value of R1 million (Recital)

The third Stellenbosch International Piano Symposium held at Stellenbosch University proves to be an exceptional bringing together of leading South African and top international pianists for five days of lessons, lectures and recitals to participants from across the country.

A large number of observers joins piano students for daily master classes and other events experiencing the exchange of ideas and expertise. Concerts of the highest calibre round off the evenings.

The Piano Extravaganza, held on Tuesday 23 March 2010, was according to Prof Winfried Lüdemann, Chair of the Department of Music, a spectacular surprise of a kind not yet experienced in South Africa.
