Excellent video! After all, our world, seemingly smaller day by day, is made up of just that,...'communities'. By understanding community as a verb we can engage differently with how our own 'community', wherever that may be, fits in to a larger context. As a health professional in training, I can attest to the value of this perspective regarding social inequality and health. This construct builds bridges between diverse groups of humanity, an inspiring task indeed.

This is what it means to be a 'community organizer'. More of us should join the call to help each other. As a famous community organizer said: " Because nothing worthwhile in this country has ever happened unless somebody, somewhere stood up when it was hard; stood up when they were told no you cant, and said yes we can" - Barack Obama.

In trying to rate this video a "5", I mistakenly rated this video a "2" -- it is a wonderful short introduction to the issue of addressing health disparities!
