lenovo thinkpad t61 screen display BONKERS.AVI

So last nite i shutdown my laptop.
only to have it boot this morning to the flashing screen of little boxes of death.
i know that my hardrive has been giving me "low disk space" warning. so only 10mb might be free.
is that why it won't boot. i did BIOS startup. there is no "safe mode" but it ran hardrive diagnostic and said its cool.
i doubt its a virus,....but i guess thats always an option.
anybody got a clue...please hit me up. thanks!

a year later....(i know i know) just letting ya'll know i Resolved "Bonkers Screen" i had a beta win 7 disc in the drive my machine was booting from even tho disc drive wasn't in the Boot Order

oh well....simple fix.

-eject disc-

I don't think its graphics, the card shows the graphics before loading windows... Your installation is corrupt.. re-install

that's horrible :( Have you tried a Linux Live CD (like Ubuntu or Linux Mint) to see if you get any graphical desktop at all?

I've heard that the T61 versions using the nVidia chipset seem to share the same problem with burned out GPU after a while. I think it can be repaired by the Lenovo service team.
