Nice work, bro! You're funny and I can tell you're cool. Sorry to hear you learned about lumber dimensions at the expense of your new floor, but I'm sure you fixed it up OK. Instead of using the pressure treated posts, you can get untreated 4x4s, but the easier (and cheaper) way is to take a couple 2x4s and screw them together with drywall screws. 2 1/2" screws are plenty long enough (and safe) for connecting two 2x4s. Hope your training is going well. Cheers from another "meaty" brother.
Hey, yes the 4x4 is treated, and yes you are right the chemicals in it is cyanide it looks sh@tty but it held me and my friends and i'm over 340lbs i changed it a few months ago & used pre treated again and it dried out and cracked, so i added some 2x6's any way i would have to make a new vid so you can see, but i did get sick from the pretreated (cyanide poisoning), but i'm better now
Nice work, but the 4 x 4 wood looks treated. Treated wood shoulod be used outdoors due to the chemicals that are in them. Maybe you should consider using non-treated wood, better for your health. Nice job.
@drn1962 HAHAHaaa , you funny"that belly aint meat brotha!! lol" but i'm at 338Lbs, and i hang on it and can pull myself half way up about 3 times but i am going to reinforce it with 2 more 4x4s, but all my friends that come by be on it like it's monkey bars at a school playground, and the heaviest was 250Lbs, so thanks for the comment, and if you make/have one i would love to see it. Peace
you drilled in to the floor?? crazy man, just crazy! but looks sturdy with plenty of base. Oh yeah, that belly aint meat brotha!! lol good job man! peace out
the reason that 1 inch pipe wouldnt fit through a 1 inch hole is because the 1 inch pipe is the inside diameter measurement. You need like 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 hole for it to fit. And it depends on what schedule it is. Hope that helps for any further tries of this build

How safe is it to use? Will it fall apart as your doing pull ups weighted?
