-2 months later; 3:48 a.m.-
(A/N: Demi is 9 months pregnant and her due date in a few weeks and amy is almost 2 now. Also, I forgot to mention but joe is now 20 and demi's 17th birtday is next month)
- demi's cell phone rings -
Dem: (sighs & answers it) hello?
Joe: (wakes up)
Dem: oh hi aunt Lucy. What's up?
AL=Aunt Lucy
AL: well. . . It's your grandfather
Dem: (sits up) oh God. What's wrong with papa?
AL: well...he passed away. I'm sorry demi. I know how close you were to him
Dem: (sighs) yea...
AL: but I have some good news for you.
Dem: (a tear falls) yea?
AL: well, I don't know if you knew this but your grandfather was a very rich man. You probably didn't because he started the company after your mother took you away from him.
(A/N: I can't remember if I explained but her mom & grandpa didn't get along. & demi only visited him rarely. Dallas was on her moms side so demi was the only one for her grandpa since her grandma died a while ago)
AL: well, in his will he left it for you.
Dem: oh my God. Really?
AL: yes. He left you his music company.
Dem: wow (sniffles) when's the funeral?
Joe: (worried) oh God... No
Dem: (nods)
Joe: (rubs her back)
AL: well it's in 2 days. Here, I'll give the phone to your new assistant.
A=Assistant
A: hello miss lovato. We will have the private jet come for you in the morning.
Dem: (eyes widen) o-ok (smiles) thanks uhm...
A: Jerry, call me Jerry. Well see you tomorrow (hangs up)
Dem: (hangs up in shock)
Joe: what?
Dem: my papa died...but he left me his music company...
Joe: really?
Dem: (smiles wide) joe...we're rich!
Joe: (smiles) (hugs her)
Dem: (hugs back) oh joe!
Joe: (kisses her cheek) I told you everything would be ok (smiles)
Dem: I know (hugs him tighter)
-later; 6:27 a.m.-
Dem: (wakes up and calls selena) hey sel. Can you maybe watch amy for a few days? Really? Oh thanks sel! Your a life saver. (explains what happened) yea I'm fine. Ok well I hotta wake joe up. Talk to you later. Thanks again (hangs up) joe?
Joe: (moans) mmmphh (buries his head in his pillow)
Dem: joe wake up please
Joe: (sighs into his pillow) (gets up) fine. (goes to take a shower)
Dem: (giggles) (walks into amy's room) (kissed her head) morning amy (picks her up and changes her diaper) there, all better (smiles then puts her in her playpin)
Amy: (plays with her toys)
Dem: (walks back into their room & sees her phone has a new text)
Text: hello demi. It's Jerry. The plane will be at LAX at 8:00. You'll know where to go.
Dem: (smiles) so cool! (giggles)
Joe: (comes out) ok so when is the plane coming?
Dem: 8
Joe: ok. (packs his things)
Dem: (already packed)
Joe: did you do that while I was in the shower?
Dem: nope. This is for when I have to go to the hospital. Just figured I would take it. We'll only be gone for line a day.
Joe: ok (takes it downstairs then goes up to help demi downstairs) ok (doorbell rings)
Dem: that's Selena
Joe: (opens the door) gomez
Sel: jonas (smirks) hey dems! Don't worry amy will be fine (smiles then hugs her) I promise
Dem: great. Thanks again sel.
Sel: no prob. Now you two go (smiles)
Dem: wait, gotta say bye to amy (looks at joe) help please?
Joe: (sighs then helps her upstairs into amy's room)
Dem: (picks her up) I'll see you soon sweetie (kisses her cheek) love you
Joe: (kisses amy's cheek) bye amy
Dem: (puts her back in her playpen) (sighs)
Joe: come on, it's almost 7:30
Dem: ok ok
Joe: (helps her downstairs)
Sel: (follows them) bye guys!
Jemi: (waves goodbye then leaves)
