A great rally from Persian Punch but Thaljannah (not sure on the spelling there) was a bit unlucky to be the meat in the sandwich there.

@scrappy5011 Group Two. The runner up has won an English Classic & Group One's. Persian Punch was one of the most courageous horses of all time.

Maiden plate? Fool! I might be wrong but I've got a feeling it was a Group 2. Only been a fan of racing for about 8 years n Persian Punch was one of the biggest battlers I've ever seen. My favourite, along with Cold Turkey- certainly not a great, but another battler, a hold-up horse (unless Mr Moore's trying to bring his handicap mark down!) that seems to simply barge the leading horses out of the way!
