I would have given anything to be there during opening day for this ride! When they closed down the old Submarine Voyage, I felt as if a huge chunk of my heart had been ripped out, cause I enjoyed riding it when I was a young child, but I was happy as hell to learn that they were reopening it, despite having a whole new theme. Just would have loved to be there that day, I don't care how long the line was... I'd stand in line for hours just to get back onboard those old subs!

yeah the original subs at Disneyland opened in 1959, then 20K opened in 1971 i believe.

Disneyland in California had the same type of ride themed to 20000 leagues under the sea, which is where these subs came from.Disneyland recycled the old subs took out the desil engins to make them more eco friendly and created yet another awsome ride WTG disney.
