Federal STH-10

This is a Federal Signal STH-10A siren that was just installed at the Mt. Mourne VFD near Mooresville NC. In the first part of the video it will run a 3 minute attack cycle. Then it will run a 1 1/2 minute alert cycle. The last video is the 3 minute attack cycle from 700 ft away.It is being ran off of an Federal AR timer. The siren was built in 1974.It will be tested the first Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. And sorry for the shakey videos.

hmm are there specific models of AR timers for certain models of sirens?

no, the only differance is the AF timer. it had an option to sound a high low sound with the 3t22 or thunderbolt 1003

I just noticed it's the same siren as the one at Station 1 and 2 here in Pittsburgh...at least when the Ladder rolls out she'll hear the same thing as she did years ago!

Beautiful siren. We have the same one in homer city, Pa but its rusty. This one looks brand new. Good video
