  • WW I deserves an "epic" treatment on the big screen. I honestly think Jackson might be the man to do it based on this trailer. I wish to God he'd directed Red Tails.

  • I'm an American who is planning a trip to New Zealand because of Peter Jackson's footage. Where can I find this in full?

  • @strangentertainment when it will be in the 100th anniversary of ww1

  • @MitchAndo96 I know know, a noobish comment. But the RED EPIC 617 sesnor, completely different than the EPIC, shoots 28k look it up.

  • where can i see the original short movie complete?

  • @Pwn9Gaming No, it wasn't filmed in 28k, this was actually the first film to be shot on a RED ONE, an alpha version of the camera in fact. The camera had not been released at this time and the alpha model could just do 4k, at 24fps. This short was shown at the camera's launch expedition. And btw the Epic can do 5k at 48fps, not 28k...Look up RED on Wikipedia :)

  • Does ANYONE know how to get this on DVD? I cant find it anywhere.

  • I really really want Peter Jackson to make this as a full length movie now. This trailer whetted my appetite. I'm convinced that if anyone could make the definitive World War One epic of our time, it is him. It's been too long since we've had a proper, decent WW1 movie.

  • i want to be a new zelander.. is there any family where i could spend my holydays? ( please forgive my bad english). nice trailer btw

  • Just to be clear, it was "shot" in two days, not produced in two days. In other words, it took a much longer time to setup, cast, rehearse, obtain/build props, set up blocking for shots, all the post production involved, etc.. In other words, it took a lot longer than two days to complete. So, future filmmakers, don't be discouraged that you couldn't do something like this someday. Don't give up.
