The Santa Fe UFO Incident

UFO??? These photos were taken south of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Untouched. I don't have a clue as to what I was watching but whatever it was, I captured it in these photos. Some say it was light reflecting on my camera. If that is the case than what was I seeing outside the camera??? I say UFO with a wink, wink and a nod, nod but I do not know and I do wonder.

I'm sorry but that was a lens flare from your camera. I would like to believe but you shot directly at the sunset and caught a lens flare. The thing went up because the sun was going down.

in 1991 i was a 13yrold during the end of May begining of June there was a sighting of a large/huge ufo, i was one of many that seen this no one any where has reported it, it was in the New Mexico Tribune and a second newspaper reported it a hoax government weather balloons out of all the people during that time and not a single video or photo of that day it was a thursday evening lost track of time and was late for school on friday, i wish someone had photos or something

It is called a chromatic, this aberration related by the quantity of light, the form of the aim and the angle of the same one with regard to the luminous area.

THE TECHNICAL CAMERA TERM FOR THE COMBINED OPTICAL EFFECTS VIEWED HERE ARE:

1) LENS FLARE 2) "SPERICAL ABBERATION".

SPERICAL ABBERATION IS CAUSED BY THE REFLECTION OF THE LIGHT SOURCE (SUN) BOUNCING AROUND THE INSIDE OF THE LENS BARREL.

LENS FLARE IS A COMMON EFFECT CAUSED BY POINTING A CAMERA INTO THE LIGHT.

THE HUMAN EYE AND BRAIN COMPENSATE FIOR THIS, ALTHOUGH BLINDNESS WILL RESULT FROM RETINA BURN.
