@misterbonzai08 what about a mother in 3rd world countries who has "cubs" to feed but when I caught a fish a little while ago I didn't brutally rip it apart I simply pounded it in the head then decapitated it then proceeded to clean it what you see here are not live fish they are muscle-reflex spasms.
@ikaninjau2 I can tolerate a wild animal killing because it has to and it might have cubs to feed. What I find sickening is human beings, who have every edible thing at their disposal, laughing at an animal suffering. Don't forget, we are the only creature so far to have a proven sense of morality and empathy... if you do not exhibit morality and empathy you are what the ancients termed 'savage'.
@lavendersfields123 it all depends on the situation Killing by beheading is not immediate. Consciousness remains for at least eight seconds can be as much as 15 seconds but the brain stays alive for upto 15 mins with neves twiching after beheading until lack of oxygen causes unconsciousness and eventually death
@bwoodcracker Well, it's much shorter than that actually, since it also has a lack of blood. The brain naturally makes attempts to shut down as many non-vital organs as possible in order to try to stay alive for as long as it can. Disconnected, the time is reduced far more, as it does not have any organs to kill and so moves onto shutting itself down quicker. As it shuts itself down, the organism will lose consciousness.

@misterbonzai08 so when a cougar kills a deer and it tries to live it's telling it something? If you weren't such a city slicker you would understand

"That" is not gross. Eating meat is gross. Life, when it struggles to survive... is trying to tell you something lady.

When people are beheaded, somehow, it is known that the beheaded have some thought process a few seconds afterwards....
I suppose it's just enough time to think, "oh shit, I'm done for!"
